Psuedo single momma....

Today I became a psuedo single momma... 

Brian left for a {work thing} convention for the union.  So, that means there will be a shitload of police officers defiling a hotel somewhere.  5 days filled with drinking, eating, farting, smoking, gambling, golfing, bullshitting....  such a hard job.  {the only perk for me would be if he actually WINS a prize this year and brings me home something cool!}  I'm pretty sure that the cleaning staff hates this group of police officers!!  I mean, think of all those drunk, obnoxious men in one hotel.   And the smell....    {GAG}

To give you an example of what they're dealin with up there:::  Last year's "officer of the year" streaked naked thru the hotel.  Upstanding gentlemen.... fo'sho!  {and if i'm remembering correctly, i believe that he was kicked out!}  lol

So as he "slaves" away working "hard" til saturday...er friday, i mean, he does GOLF friday... so that's not hard work!

I'm left to finagle the 3 kids this week.  Inlaws just happen to be going out of town at the same time, so I have to find a way to get the boys to school (and back), me to work, boys to 2 t-ball games this week, still potty training Kellyn all while not killing someone before he gets home. 

OH... and NEXT weekend he will enjoy a lovely weekend back home {minnesota} without ANY OF US while he golfs in a charity outing.  That's so not fair that he's gonna be in my home state without me! 

I have always respected all single moms and dads out there, and everytime he goes away, I am reminded how LUCKY I am to NOT be a single parent.  God bless you all!
